Raj defends his PhD thesis

Many congratulations to Raj for successfully defending his doctoral thesis titled “ChemXDyn: Dynamics-aware methodology for chemically accurate species identification and kinetic analysis from atomistic simulations” on September 18th, 2026. He joined the FLAME Lab in October 2020 as the second PhD student in the lab, also co-advised by Dr. Phani Motamarri who heads the MATRIX lab at CDS IISc.

Raj successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled “ChemXDyn: Dynamics-aware methodology for chemically accurate species identification and kinetic analysis from atomistic simulations” on September 18th, 2026. The objective of his thesis was to develop a robust multiscale modeling framework that analyses the trajectories of species from atomistic simulations towards combustion applications. The thesis defense was attended by Dr. Abhinav S. Raman from Chemical Engineering, IIT Madras, along with other faculty members and students. The FLAME Lab extends its congratulations to Raj on his accomplishment and conveys its best wishes for his future endeavours.
