Priyabrat successfully defended his doctoral thesis titled “Toward machine learning-accelerated simulations of cavity-stabilized flames” on November 5th, 2026. The objective of his thesis was to develop machine learning frameworks to reduce the computational costs involved in reacting flow simulations. The thesis defense was attended by Dr. Shubhangi S. Bansude from Mechanical Engineering, IIT Gandhinagar, along with other faculty members and students.
