Sudhakar defends his M.Tech (Res) thesis

Many congratulations to Sudhakar for successfully defending his masters thesis titled “Data-driven and low-precision methods for improving and accelerating computational fluid dynamics solvers” on August 31st, 2026.

Surya Datta Sudhakar successfully defended his masters thesis titled “Data-driven and low-precision methods for improving and accelerating computational fluid dynamics solvers” on August 31st, 2026. The objective of his thesis was to introduce transfer learning-based subgrid scale stress prediction and low-precision frameworks for reducing computational costs and accelerating computational fluid dynamics simulations. The thesis defense was attended by Professor Rishita Das, along with other faculty members and students. The FLAME Lab extends its congratulations to Sudhakar on his accomplishment and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours.
